It looks like Taylor Swift is behind the "Look What You Made Me Do" cover on Killing Eve
Fans are praising Taylor Swift as it seems she was involved in putting together the "Look What You Made Me Do" cover that featured on last night's (24 May) episode of Killing Eve.
Last year saw Swift speak out against her ex-label bosses Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta at Big Machine Records. There was a lot of back and forth, with Swift even addressed the situation during her Billboard Woman of the Decade Award speech in December 2019.
One of the claims Swift made against the Big Machine label bosses was that they were blocking her from buying her own music, leading her to say that they were stopping her from performing her back catalogue at the Billboard Awards last year. While the label denied the claims, Swift said she was "looking forward" to re-recording her old songs.
Last night (24 May), the latest episode of BBC series Killing Eve featured a cover of Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" track.
Swift shared the cover on Twitter, giving a shout out to the band, Jack Leopards & The Dolphin Club. As NME notes, Jack Leopards & The Dolphin Club haven't got any other releases or song credits, hinting that it might not actually be a real band.
Fans believe that the cover is led by Swift's brother Austin, as he apparently once named his Twitter account The Dolphin Club, and the cover artwork is reportedly created from a childhood picture of Austin.
The production credits also back up the idea that Swift is behind the cover, as it lists Nils Sjöberg as a producer, which is a pseudonym Swift used when she co-wrote Calvin Harris and Rhianna's "This Is What You Came For".
