Taylor Swift announces 1989 world tour
Taylor Swift has announced a gigantic world tour in support of her exceptional record 1989. The 1989 Tour will head to the UK for three dates - Manchester, London and Glasgow. The Glasgow show will be her first ever Scottish performance.
Tickets for Manchester and Glasgow will go on sale 9.30am Friday (7 November) via AXS and Ticketmaster. American Express card holders can access a presale here that runs from 9.30am 4 November - 9.30pm 6 November. Tickets for Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park 2015 will go on general sale at 9am on Monday 10 November. More ticket information, including VIP packages, can be found here.
We recently gave 1989 8.5/10, and said:
"One major facet of the 1989 is just how ruddy huge it is. Every track's an anthem of some kind; every track could clamber to the top of the charts with ease, brushing aside wannabes like pawns on a chessboard."
Vance Joy and Shawn Mendes will be the principle USA/Canada support.
