Tanya Tagaq announces new album with title-track "Tongues"

2014 Polaris Music Prize winner Tanya Tagaq has announced her first album in five years Tongues, and has unveiled the title-track as the lead single.
"Tongues" is the first new music from Tagaq since 2019's Toothsayer EP, and is teamed with a Caitlin Veitch-directed video.
The new outing is also a first taster of Tagaq's forthcoming album, also titled Tongues, which will be her first in five years after 2016's Retribution. The record is produced by Saul Williams and mixed by Gonjasufi.

"Tongues" is out now. Tanya Tagaq's album of the same name will follow on 11 March 2022 via Six Shooter Records.
