Tame Impala return with free download "Let It Happen"
Yes, it's finally happened: the lauded Australian psych outfit Tame Impala are back, with the follow-up to 2012's Lonerism.
And what's more, it's yours for free.
"Let It Happen" is an eight minute wonder. Kevin Parker's distinctive vocals grab you by the hand and guide you through richly evolving tapestries of sounds that sprawl, dance, soar, and dive. Staccato synths and phasing drones mark this track out as the band at their most danceable yet. Never ones to stick to a template, a delerious orchestral interlude showcases the groups dexterity when it comes to pushing the boundaries. Each time you play the track through, there seems to be a brand new reason to fall in love.
Marking the first taste of Tame Impala since the unanimously adored Lonerism saw release in 2010, the track is available as a free download from the band's website.
