Australian psych-rock band Tame Impala have confirmed that a new album will drop sometime in 2015.
The as-yet-untitled LP will follow 2012's plaudit-decorated Lonerism - a particularly tough act to follow. The outfit have been keeping on the down low in the months and years following its release, only cropping up for a few side projects, live EPs and collaborations, but it seems that 2015's the year that all that changes.
In an email sent out by the band's management, the release was revealed.
With Frank Ocean - 2012's other universally applauded record - gearing up to release his new full-length too, are we set for Tame Impala vs. Frank Ocean, round two? Not that they're really in direct competition, but it was pretty much Channel ORANGE or Lonerism topping roundup lists everywhere.
