Tame Impala channel Fight Club's airport existentialism in the "Let It Happen" video
Tame Impala have revealed their visuals for "Let It Happen", a stellar cut from recent record Currents.
David Wilson has directed the clip, marking the second time Kevin Parker's outfit and the Grammy-nominated director have collaborated (following the video for Lonerism's "Mind Mischief").
It sees a Fight Club-style scenario of a red-eye flying businessman worked to the bone in search of an escape: "If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person... you wake up at SeaTac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time."
Currents is out now.
Tame Impala will play a range of UK/EU festivals in September, including a headline spot at End Of The Road.
