Talk Talk co-founder Mark Hollis has died aged 64
Mark Hollis, the vocalist and co-founder of Talk Talk, has reportedly died aged 64.
'80s rock band Talk Talk were best known for their singles "It's My Life" (later covered by No Doubt), and "Life's What You Make It".
Hollis' manager Keith Aspden confirmed his passing to NPR earlier today, saying, "I can't tell you how much Mark influenced and changed my perceptions on art and music. I'm grateful for the time I spent with him and for the gentle beauty he shared with us."
His family and peers have shared their thoughts on the news via Twitter, including his cousin Anthony Costello, and band mate Paul Webb, who shared a statement to Facebook: "He knew how to create a depth of feeling with sound and space like no other. He was one of the greats, if not the greatest".
