Talk Show, Flamingods and more to play new 00:01 London festival celebrating lifting of restrictions
Flamingods, Talk Show and more have been announced for a new late night London festival called 00:01, which will begin the moment lockdown restrictions are lifted in England on 19 July.
00:01 is a new late night festival set to take place in London to celebrate the lifting of the current lockdown restrictions in England, which is due to take place on 19 July.
Set across two venues in Oval Space and Pickle Factory, the likes of Flamingods, Talk Show and Crows are due to perform, with DJ sets from Lynks, DJ Betamax (The Comet Is Coming) and DJ L.E.D (Goat Girl).
As the name suggests, the festival will start at 00:01 on 19 July, and will run in Oval Space until 05:01am, and 04:01am at Pickle Factory.
According to a press release, the idea for the festival came after a conversation with direcctor Tom Dream about his ongoing FIRST MOSH AFTER COVID documentary.
Egyptian Elbows promoters Rob Broadbent and Max Wheeler said, “This is thefirst time in the history of, well everything (?) that live music in a venue has been taken away from us - and as live music fans first and foremost we wanted to see the occasion back inproperly with a BIG night and a load of killer bands thatare going to smash it up."
Organisers have confirmed that if the lockdown exit gets delayed again, the festival date will also change.
