Tacocat announce new album with playful lead single "Grains of Salt"
Punk rock four-piece Tacocat return with news of their new album This Mess Is a Place, accompanied with the lively lead single "Grain of Salt".
The Seattle group's new single arrives with visuals directed by Claire Buss, featuring some of the city's iconic drag acts.
Tacocat's vocalist Emily Nokes explains, "It’s finally happening! We’re beyond excited to show everyone "Grains of Salt"! We love all our song children, but this one might be our favorite ever...The video is also super special! We were really lucky to get to work with some of our favorite Seattle performers and friends, not to mention an ace video team. Seattle is so talented it’s ridiculous. (Shoutout to the giant glasses of room-temp blue milk that somehow never spilled a drop!)"
"Grains of Salt" is Tacocat's first new music since their 2016 record Lost Time.
Their fourth album, This Mess Is a Place, marks their first since signing to Sub Pop, and sees the quartet recruit Lost Time producer Erik Blood.
