TĀLĀ announces new EP, streams title track "Alchemy"
TĀLĀ is set to release a new EP, Alchemy, 17 November via Aesop.
We've already heard "Black Scorpio", but now she's also shared the lead track from the short-length. It follows a slowed-down version "B.O.B" by Outkast in the glossy synth bursts, but the track is by far more electro-R&B than Southern hip-hop. Expect Iranian pop hooks, caffeine-jitter beats and the warped, lurching bass of a thousand bedroom producers crying in unison. It's impressive, worldly, addictive pop.
Listen to "Alchemy" below.
Tracklist:
1. "Alchemy"
2. "Black Scorpio"
3. "Everybody’s Free"
4. "Unfinished Business"
The Alchemy EP will be released 17 November digitally or 1 December on 12", both via Aesop. Pre-order here.
