SZA will feature on Doja Cat's Planet Her album
Doja Cat has confirmed that SZA is one of the featured artists on her highly-anticipated new album Planet Her.
Over the past couple of months Doja Cat has been teasing her new album title Planet Her. While she previously revealed that she's "trying to cover all bases" with different genres across the album, today (5 March) Doja Cat has confirmed one of the featured artists.
Doja Cat confirmed the news in a new interview for V Magazine, which saw SZA take on the role of the interviewer. While asking the first question, SZA seemed to reveal the title of their collaboration, "Ok, so did you just fuck around and do every single genre because that’s what we wanna hear? You could do literally anything. I know our little ditty "Kiss Me More" is a different strut and I’m just excited."
Later, SZA asked Doja Cat about the collaborations on Planet Her, leading her to reply, "It’s people that I respect and I’m extremely excited about having on the album and it’s a full-circle moment for me, basically. Just knowing that I have you on it is just sexy. It’s perfect. I feel confident. It doesn’t feel like something out of myself, you know? I feel like I’m doing what I want to do."
Doja Cat was also asked about her album title, to which she responded, "It’s giving divine feminine."
Although Doja Cat is yet to share more details about Planet Her, she has already collaborated with Saweetie and Ariana Grande this year.
