Sylvan Esso launch own record label and singles series
Sylvan Esso have launched a new record label with their longtime manager Martin Anderson called Psychic Hotline, and have released the first instalment of the Psychic Hotline Singles Series.
Psychic Hotline is a new record label founded by Sylvan Esso's Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn, and their longtime manager Martin Anderson.
The Bandcamp description for Psychic Hotline states, "Working with Secretly Distribution and Kris Chen (Nonesuch, XL, Domino), the company seeks to create new works and reissue classic albums from their ever-expanding musical community."
As well as launching the label, the first instalment of its Psychic Hotline Singles Series has been released, which features Meath and Blake Mills' new song titled "Neon Blue", as well as cover of the same song by Sam Gendel.
On Twitter, Psychic Hotline wrote of the Singles Series, "It's the inaugural installment of the Psychic Hotline Singles Series, which will feature brand new music and one-off collaborations from Anjimile, Bartees Strange w/ Eric Slick and Ohmme, Flock of Dimes, Made of Oak, Mountain Man, The Tallest Man on Earth, Uwade and many more."
