Sweet Baboo shares new music video "You Got Me Time Keeping"
With his fifth album The Boombox Ballads released in August, Sweet Baboo has shared the video for album track "You Got Me Time Keeping", and announced a special Rough Trade show for the album release date.
Over six minuted in length, "You Got Me Time Keeping" drifts between a brassy pop number, a strings-led ballad, ethereal haunting echoes, and soaring ambience.
Featuring Tender Prey (alias of Laura Bryon), the video sees her and Stephen Black distorted out of shape by water as it bubbles, froths, mixes, and evolves.
The Boombox Ballads is released via Moshi Moshi on 14 August. Sweet Baboo will perform an acoustic set at Rough Trade the same day.
