Swans, Xiu-Xiu, Mercury Rev & more to play Camden's Koko
Swans are set to curate the first in a series of one-day festivals at Koko in London.
The first outing will take place on 4 April 2013, with Swans being joined on the bill by Xiu-Xiu, Mercury Rev Tettix Experiment and Ben Frost.
Tickets are available here, with more acts to be announced.
Swans’ Michael Gira told The Quietus:
“This is the first installment in what we hope to be a yearly festival, focused on disparate music and genres. Artists are chosen based on their ability to resuscitate, set fire to the air, or to mesmerize. All of the performers chosen for this year’s festival I find personally to be compelling in this regard. The goal: joy!”
