Susanna announces new album with opening track "The Dancing Snake"
Norway's Susanna has announced her new LP Baudelaire & Piano, as well as unveiling the opening track "The Dancing Snake".
"The Dancing Snake" is Susanna's first release since last year's Garden of Earthly Delights album with The Brotherhood of Our Lady.
Susanna's forthcoming album Baudelaire & Piano was recorded at Stockholm's Atlantis Studio, and is inspired by French poet Charles Baudelaire. It's also Susanna's first solo album since 2018's Go Dig My Grave.
Discussing the new LP, Susanna says, "I wanted to approach this material in an almost dogmaCc way. To present the songs in a naked, stripped-down form, alone at the piano. These poems have so many layers and contain such rich expanding emotions to me."
