Surfer Blood start work on new album with Pixies producer

Surfer Blood have revealed that they are to record their next album with Pixies producer Gil Norton.
Norton, who has also worked with the likes Foo Fighters and The Strokes, is to work on what will be the group’s second album.
Surfer Blood have also confirmed they’re set to record the follow-up to 2010′s Astro Coast in California, relocating to the state shortly.
The band posted on Twitter:
Moving to California on May 12th for two months to record our second record with Gil Norton. Stoked.
They had previously been thought to work with Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Built to Spill) on a release through Warner Bros Records.
There is no set date for the release as of yet.
