Surfer Blood are streaming their new record 1000 Palms in full a week early
Surfer Blood are streaming new album 1000 Palms in full ahead of its release next week.
The new record follows 2013's sophomore LP Pythons.
Recently, the band's guitarist, Thomas Fekete, revealed he'd been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, and set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for his treatment, aiming to hit a target of $76,000. Fekete has smashed the target already.
A host of artists are also playing a fundraiser for Fekete in New York's Bowery Ballroom on 12 May, including We Are Scientists, Julianna Barwick, Kip Berman (The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart), Marnie Stern, Cults and more.
1000 Palms is due out 11 May on Fierce Panda Records. Stream it now over at NPR.
