Sundara Karma detail new EP and share fresh track "Artifice"
Sundara Karma have announced details of their forthcoming EP Kill Me, and have released "Artifice" as the second preview of the project.
The band returned last month with the EP title-track "Kill Me", which landed with a Hannah Diamond-directed music video.
Today (26 October) Sundara Karma have unveiled "Artifice" as the second track to be lifted from their new EP. Lead vocalist Oscar Pollock says of the track, ""Artifice" is about someone having been in your life and not being in it anymore, but they’ve left a mark that will never be removed…. and being able to make peace with that. The scar may be there forever, but that’s fine because life goes on."
Kill Me will be the band's first collection of tracks since last year's Ulfilas’ Alphabet album.
The new EP is co-produced by Clarence Clarity (Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama) and Pollock. Pollock says of working with Clarence Clarity, "It was really exciting to work together… I've been a fan of his solo material for a while now and I think he's really helped me translate my songs into a more streamlined sequence of sounds. There’s so much going on with each of these songs."
