Sun Kil Moon’s Mark Kozelek denies latest sexual misconduct allegations from seven women
Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon has been accused of sexual misconduct by seven more women, and has denied the claims via a statement issued by his attorney.
Kozelek was first accused of sexual assault allegations by three women last August in an article published by Pitchfork. While he said at the time that he "unconditionally" denies the claims, Pitchfork has today (25 March) published another article with sexual misconduct allegations against Kozelek from seven more women.
The latest claims, which span two decades according to Pitchfork, come from seven women who were once Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon fans, and includes allegations non-consensual nudity and masturbation, unwanted touching, and non-consensual intercourse.
Pitchfork also published a statement issued to them via Kozelek's attorney. The statement reads: "Apparently an effort is being made by those with an agenda to renew and recirculate the same kinds of false allegations and innuendo that were the subject of my prior statement in August 2020. I continue to categorically deny that I engaged in the inappropriate incidents falsely depicted in the media. I intend to vigorously defend myself against these untruthful allegations and to pursue and protect my rights in the event that false and defamatory statements are disseminated or published."
