The organisers behind Summer Sundae festival have announced that it won’t return in 2013.
The promoters have revealed that the 3-day Leicester event will take a year out, before coming back in 2014.
A statement reads:
“There’s no denying that last year was a difficult year for independent festivals. This wasn’t an easy decision for us but we think it’s the right time to take a year off. We need the time to look at different models and fresh ideas to bring Summer Sundae back for 2014 and beyond.”
2012′s leg included the likes of Japandroids, Savages, tUnE-yArDs, Francois And The Atlas Mountains, Katy B and Willy Mason on the bill.
