Summer Camp announce "Beyond Clueless" soundtrack release, stream title-track
London retro-pop duo Summer Camp have announced the release of their soundtrack to teen movie documentary Beyond Clueless.
The film was directed by Charlie Lyne and narrated by Fairuza Balk, while the OST features 12 entirely new tracks and will be released on 4 August.
“There are a couple of songs on the OST - ‘Beyond Clueless’ and ‘Losing It’ - that could have fitted nicely on either of our previous albums, but we’re also exploring new musical ground and the instrumentals are the first we’ve ever released,” singer Elizabeth Sankey says in a press release.
“We composed some of our most straightforward open music ever with ‘Swimming Pool’, ‘Learn To Love Yourself’ and ‘Graduation’, as well as the most aggressive and mechanical track we’ve ever laid down in ‘Weak Walls’.”
Summer Camp perform the score live in full at Sheffield DocFest this evening (10 June), with tickets available here. Listen to the title-track below.
