Sumie unveils "Leave Me", the affecting first taste of long-awaited second record Lost In Light
Singer/songwriter Sumie - aka Sandra Sumie Nagano - has detailed Lost In Light, her second full-length record, and shared the lead single "Leave Me".
This new LP follows her eponymous debut, released in 2013. It was recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden, with producer Filip Leyman, and features contributions from Karl Vento and Albert af Ekenstam on electric guitar, Emma Strååt and Kajsa Persson on strings, and Max Lindahl on trumpet.
"My debut album was very personal and I was proud of letting it go; however, I was not really prepared, even though I was almost 40 years old at that time," says Sumie. "For a quiet person, the aftermath turned out in many ways, some for the better and some for the worse. So, the thought of a second album was not self-evident."
Sumie has also shared a trailer for Lost In Light, which can glimpse below. The album's tracklist can be found afterwards.
