Sugababes unveil Majestic remix of "Overload"
Ahead of Sugababes dropping the 20th anniversary edition of their debut album One Touch next month, they've released a Majestic remix of "Overload".
The Majestic remix of "Overload" follows Metronomy's version of the track that dropped in July, and will appear on the 20th anniversary edition of One Touch alongside Blood Orange's remix of "Same Old Story" and MNEK's remix of "Run for Cover".
Sugababes say of the new remix, "We grew up on garage so this hits a sweet spot for us. Thank you Majestic for dusting a bit of magic on "Overload" for us."
Majestic, real name Kevin Christie adds, "What an honour it is to remix this record! I remember when the original first dropped and thinking who are these girls! When this record first came out I was heavily into my UK Garage so it made so much sense to throw it back to some original garage vibes on this remix. It’s a bubbler for sure!"
As well as featuring remixes, the anniversary album will also include the Japanese bonus track "Don't Wanna Wait" among the other bonus tracks and demos.
