Sufjan Stevens joins Angelo De Augustine on new track "Santa Barbara"
Angelo De Augustine has released his new single "Santa Barbara", which features Sufjan Stevens.
"Santa Barbara" is De Augustine's first new single since his 2019 LP Tomb. It's also Sufjan Stevens' first feature since releasing his collaborative album with stepfather Lowell Brams, Aporia, last month.
Stevens contributes additional vocals and guitar, and "Santa Barbara" is the first time that the two musicians have collaborated.
De Augustine says of the new single, ""Santa Barbara" touches on the uncertainties and realities of being mortal in the landscape that we view through our experience. Displaying ghostly apparitions, love, death, and a famous British novelist. It was a good experience to record this song with my friend Sufjan. I look forward to sharing more soon."
