Subjective unite with Tom Misch and Frida Touray on new song "Lost"
Subjective, the collaborative project of Goldie and James Davidson, have joined forces with Tom Misch and Frida Touray on "Lost", which is lifted from their forthcoming album The Start Of No Regret.
"Lost" featuring Tom Misch and Frida Touray is Subjective's first release of 2022, and will appear on The Start Of No Regret alongside last year's "Sunlight" featuring Lady Blackbird and "Dassai Menace".
Misch says of the collaboration, "Goldie hit me up and asked if I wanted to make some music together. I was up for trying something, curious to what we would make! He sent me some drums and I started messing around with some pad sounds on my prophet 5. I added some more layers, a bit of guitar and sent it back to him and he digged it!"
Tourey adds, "It was an amazing experience getting to record this track with Goldie. There's a real passion in the track and lyrics that Goldie wrote that spoke to me and I'm so happy I was asked to sing and interpret that sentiment freely."
As well as featuring Tom Misch, Frida Tourey and Lady Blackbird, The Start Of No Regret will feature appearances from Greentea Peng, LaMeduza, Natalie Duncan and more.
