Sub Pop post original Nirvana record contract online

As we noted in our recent feature celebrating their 25 year anniversary, signing Nirvana was undoubtedly Sub Pop‘s most important moment in their history - not only did it publicise the Seattle imprint beyond their wildest dreams, but it meant a steady income of royalties from then onwards.
Now, for possibly the first time, you can check out the original contract inked in hand by the Bleach-era line-up of Krist Noveselic, Chad Channing, Jason Everman and, of course, the late Kurt Cobain.
As the label themselves note on their Tumblr page, “Six hundred bucks well spent—not that we had it at the time.” Check the photo out below:
