The Line of Best Fit
London-via-Beirut vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Tay Salem has revealed his first EP.
The Night Mill EP skirts the place between moody pop and cerebral R&B and you can stream it here ahead of its proper release next week.
"To me there’s little distinction between day and night in the 21st century," Salem tells us. "You’re always expected to be switched on and functioning, like the workers in the cotton mills at Cromford in the 1700s who were organised into two 12 hour shifts. The mills never stopped.
"This EP is an expression of living in these times, where 3 grains of salt are worth ten ounces of truth."
The Night Mill EP is released on 19 October via Alter the Motion.
