As previously reported, the likes of My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Marcus Mumford from Mumford & Sons and Elvis Costello are releasing a new album consisting of unreleased Bob Dylan lyrics.
Last on the River: The New Basement Tapes will be released on 11 November, a project helmed by T Bone Burnett which sees famous musicians recording songs left off of the folk musician’s classic 1975 album The Basement Tapes.
Among those also taking part are Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith and Carolina Chocolate Drops’ Rhiannon Giddens. A feature-length documentary will also be released with the LP.
