Stream Nathaniel Rateliff's Closer EP in full, exclusively on Best Fit
Denver songsmith Nathaniel Rateliff, described as "somewhere between M. Ward and Bill Callahan" by some outlets, is streaming his upcoming Closer EP in full via Best Fit ahead of its 26 January release.
His ability to craft hard-hitting slabs of folk-pop/brittle Americana with acoustic tendencies and a palpable soul have allowed him to grace stages with Laura Marling, Iron and Wine and Bon Iver in the past. This new EP, comprising six delicately whittled paeans to life, is a combination of Nateliff's impressive vocals, dusty strumming and taut all-male harmonies.
He's heading out on tour again this week, with a full band, in the UK and Ireland, beginning at Dublin's Academy 2 on 23 January.
Closer is due for release 26 January on Juno.
