Former 6 Day Riot vocalist Tamara Schlesinger eschews the acoustic understatement of her previous band as she emerges this year under the Malka name.
The strident Pledge-funded Marching To Another Beat finds Tamara Schlesinger in complete control with this new project. The London-based multi-instrumentalist has woven a record of complex, warm songs - rich with tribal beats and a soulful rise and fall at every turn.

Marching To Another Beat is releasd on 1 June via Tantrum Records. Malka plays an album launch show this Wednesday (27 May) at London's Sebright Arms.
