Stream FKA Twigs' new EP M3LL155X, and watch her new 16-minute short film
FKA twigs has released her new EP M3LLI55X and shared a 16-minute video for four of its five tracks.
The clip was directed by twigs herself, and covers "Figure 8", "I’m Your Doll", "In Time", and "Glass & Patron". The EP's final track, "Mothercreep", isn't included.
The press release describes the film as "com[ing] together to form a single continuous FKA twigs-directed work, cementing who she is as an artist with an aggressive statement conceptualising the process of feeling pregnant with pain, birthing creativity and liberation."
The tracks were recorded in the time following twigs' debut record LP1, and was mostly created with producers BOOTS, tic, and Cy An. The EP is out now via Young Turks, and will receive a limited edition vinyl pressing later this year.
