Stream Dolores Haze's debut EP exclusively on Best Fit
After blowing their audience away with the "The Haze," Dolores Haze are streaming their debut EP in full exclusively on Best Fit.
"I'm not yours to keep" vocalist Groovy Nickz laments on "Kaleido," her silk-smooth vocals resounding with a bittersweet intensity. But this isn't a band to eat their own heart out. Instead they're going to snatch yours. Within an instant, all elements of the enchanting are gone, replaced by an energy raw enough to make your neck bristle.
Their constantly changing dynamism is part of what makes Dolores Haze such a captivating act to follow. From the thundering punk of "The Haze," through the sinister backline of "Kaleido" and the overdriven lo-fi of "Propaganda Goth Club," to the oh-so-casually explicit "Make Love The Pain Away," the Accidental EP is anything but a mishap.
With their debut EP, Dolores Haze say they have revealed the "slightly embarrassing wish of having a Kurt Cobain afterlife and play with people's hearts until death tears them apart."
Crafting music to disarm as much as to charm, the Accidental EP demonstrates a band who know exactly how to control the prowess at their fingertips. If you know what's good for you then you'll stand in line, as only good things can come of this.
These four tracks not enough? Worry not.
"This summer we'll make our international debut at Latitude festival and End Of The Road festival," the band enthused. "England make way!"
(The emojis are crucial there.)
The Accidental EP will see release via Woah Dad! on 8th April. Stream it exclusively below.
