Stormzy, Loyle Carner and Dua Lipa nominated for The South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2018
The mix of nominated performers, authors, musicians and films include Stormzy, Loyle Carner, and Dua Lipa up for The South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2018.
The South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2018 is in its 22nd year, and has countless categories to acknowledge all arts.
TV Drama, Classical Music, Theatre, Comedy, Dance, Film, Visual Art, Pop, Literature and Opera are the categories, and will welcome Stormzy, Loyle Carner and Dua Lipa into the pop category.
Melvyn Bragg will host the awards ceremony, that aims to showcase its broad scope.
Speaking about the awards ceremony, Sky Arts director Phil Edgar-Jones explained, “With funding for the arts and arts education facing challenging times, Sky Arts’ work supporting artists and the creative industries is more important than ever. We are proud to host The South Bank Sky Arts Awards which reflect the breadth and diversity of talent and voices in the creative industries.”
