Steve Gunn recruits Meg Baird for harmonies on new single "Vagabond"
Steve Gunn returns with the third taste of his forthcoming album "Vagabond", featuring harmonies from Meg Baird.
Having already dished out previous singles "New Moon" and "Stonehurst Cowboy" towards the tail end of last year, the former guitarist from Kurt Vile's backing band The Violators returns with another country-tinged number "Vagabond".
The new single takes its name from Gunn's favourite Agnes Varda film Vagabond, and sees singer/songwriter Meg Baird provide angelic harmonies.
Gunn's upcoming album The Unseen In Between is produced by musician and frequent collaborator James Elkington, and engineered by Daniel Schlett. The new record features contributions from Bob Dylan’s musical director Tony Garnier (bass), Meg Baird (vocals), and others.
