Steve Aoki recruits BTS for their first English-speaking single "Waste It On Me"
Steve Aoki has teamed up with South Korea superstars BTS on their first English-speaking track "Waste It On Me".
Having just completed their sold out London dates at the O2 Arena, South Korea's BTS continue their global reign with their first English-speaking single.
"Waste It On Me" is another pop banger from the group, and is built on an infectious beat provided by Steve Aoki.
Aoki previously remixed BTS' "Mic Drop" track, and explains, "I’m so psyched to share this collaboration with one of the most exciting and inspiring group of guys I’ve met in the past few years.”
BTS add, "We’re happy for this meaningful and heartfelt collaboration. The song is just so amazing, we really enjoyed working on it. It’s our first song that is entirely in English. It was refreshing and fun to record the song. We hope this would be a good present for our fans.”
"Waste It On Me" is set to feature on Aoki's forthcoming Neon Future III album that arrives next month. BTS are one of many features on the album, alongside Louis Tomlinson, Lil' Yachty and more.
The South Korean group only released their Love Yourself: Answer record back in August, and went on to break YouTube's all-time record for most views in 24 hours with their video for “IDOL”.
"Waste It On Me" is out now. Neon Future III arrives on 9 November.
