Well, this has brightened up an otherwise dull and grey morning.
Stereolab, who announced a “bit of a break” over a year ago, are due to release a new album before the end of 2010! According to P4K, Drag City will be releasing the album, called Not Music, on CD and double-LP on 16th November. However, the album is unreleased material that was recorded around the time of 2008′s Chemical Chords.
If you’re desperate for some kind of new Stereolab-related material, September sees Drag City release a solo album from Laetitia Sadier, who’s put some new material up on her Myspace. Nice.
