Stef Chura shares reimagined version of Esther Rose's "Good Time"
Stef Chura's reimagined version of Esther Rose's "Good Time" has been unveiled today as the latest preview of the upcoming covers EP How Many More Times.
Following on from Anjimile's version of "Coyote Creek" and Shamir's reimagining of "Songs Remain" Stef Chura's take on Esther Rose's "Good Time" has been released.
Chura says of the song, "I chose "Good Time" because it is obviously the bop of the album. When I heard the song I really wanted to strip it of all it's country. I'd say it turned out like the evil twin of the original. Fun fact: I recorded it in New Orleans (where I live now) with Ross Farbe who recorded Esther's album."
The songs are lifted from an upcoming covers EP titled How Many More Times, which features six reimagined tracks from Esther Rose's latest album How Many Times.
