St. Vincent's Nine Inch Nails "Piggy" cover with Dave Grohl on drums gets official release
St. Vincent has given her version of Nine Inch Nails' "Piggy" featuring Dave Grohl on drums an official release after it was only previously available on Amazon Music and as a Record Store Day 7".
St. Vincent's cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Piggy" was first released exclusively on Amazon Music in November 2020 ahead of her Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction, and later featured on a Record Store Day 7" in 2021, but today (22 July) the cover, which features Dave Grohl on drums, has been released across all digital platforms for the first time.
Today it's also been announced that St. Vincent will be the first ever musical residency on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The week-long residency begins on Monday (25 July), and will see St. Vincent perform with Jon Batiste’s house band Stay Human over the course of the week.
