St. Vincent announces new record Masseduction and shares "Los Ageless"
St. Vincent has detailed long-awaited new record Masseduction and shared "Los Ageless", the latest single, during a live press conference on Facebook.
"Los Ageless" is the second preview of St. Vincent's follow up to her eponymous 2014 record. It links up with swooning cinematic ballad "New York".
Masseduction was co-produced by St. Vincent - aka Annie Clark - and Jack Antonoff at NYC's Electric Lady Studios. Additional recording took place in Rough Consumer (Brooklyn) and Compound Fracture (LA), with guest contributions from Thomas Bartlett, Kamasi Washington, Jenny Lewis, Sounwave, Greg Leisz, Rich Hinman, and Tuck and Patti Andress.
"Every record I make has an archetype," says Clark of the LP. "Strange Mercy was housewives on pills. St. Vincent was near-future cult leader. Masseduction is different; it's pretty first person. You can't fact-check it, but if you want to know about my life, listen to this record.”
Clark announced a massive tour earlier this summer - find out full details and ticket info at ilovestvincent.com.
