St. Vincent announces new album MassEducation
MassEducation will add a new dimension to St. Vincent's MASSEDUCTION tracks.
Following the release of last week's "Slow Slow Disco", St. Vincent has announced an entire reimagined album called MassEducation.
The new album was recorded over two nights in August 2017 by St. Vincent and pianist Thomas Bartlett while MASSEDUCTION was being mixed.
Yesterday Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent, revealed the second track from her forthcoming album "Saviour".
MassEducation was initially debuted through two of St. Vincent's recent performances, including her incredibly intimate show at London's Cadogan Hall last month.
In a handwritten note that accompanies the album announcement, St. Vincent explains, "We neither rehearsed nor spoke about how to approach my song, but rather, played two to three live takes, picked the best one, and trusted in the feeling of the moment. It was fast. Intuitive. Discovered. Raw.”
