Søren Juul (formerly Indians) announces new EP and shares the stellar lead cut "Ambitions"
Søren Juul - formerly flying under the banner of Indians - has announced a new EP and shared its lead cut, "Ambitions".
As Indians, Juul released his debut record Somewhere Else in 2013 - stardom beckoned, leading to a gig composing for the cinematic version of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars. However, with the lurch into the limelight, homesickness and exhaustion followed.
Now based in Svendborg ("an ancient coastal town in Denmark’s South Eastern corner"), Juul recorded a new EP during full-band sessions in a new studio. "Ambitions" is the first taste, and it charts the emotions that arose while travelling so frequently and so far frome home.
The Søren Juul EP is due via 4AD on 4 September. Juul's second record is expected next year.
