Squid and Connie Constance among artists confirmed to play virtual SXSW 2021
SXSW has unveiled the first wave of acts confirmed to play the virtual 2021 event, including Squid, Connie Constance and many more.
Last year's SXSW was one of the first major events to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, and after confirming that it would be moving online for 2021 last October, organisers have today (26 January) released the first wave of acts confirmed for the virtual edition of the festival.
Squid, Connie Constance, Braids, Anna B Savage, Alien Tango, Rosehip Teahouse, Do Nothing, Ego Ella May, Say Sue Me, Sorry, Sinead O'Brien, Holy Fuck, Walt Disco, Wavy The Creator, Katy J Pearson, PVA, and lau.ra are among the acts confirmed today, with each artist performing from a venue in their hometown or country that will be livestreamed online.
