Spring King‘s Tarek Musa is open to working with Matty Healy again on Drive Like I Do material
Tarek Musa of Spring King revealed he'd be up for reigniting his collaboration with The 1975's Matty Healy to "produce some Drive Like I Do stuff".
Earlier this month during the premiere of their latest single "TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME", Matty Healy of The 1975 revealed Spring King's Tarek Musa had a part to play in The 1975's side project, Drive Like I Do.
Pop fact: Tarek Musa (genius of band Spring King) produced the song Scary Monsters by Drive like I Do. We went to high school together @BBCR1 loooove them @philytaggart

Backstage at this year's Reading Festival, NME spoke to Musa about the tweet, to which Musa revealed he met and became friends with The 1975 through going to the same skate park, and later going to hang out with them at their school.
Musa explains, "I would always end up hanging out at their school – even though I didn’t go there. From that point on, we all got to know each other. They would come over and we’d work on some songs together, which was really fun.
When asked if there's any possibility of reuniting, Spring King's drummer and vocalist replied, “Yeah, let’s do it Matt. Let’s produce some Drive Like I Do stuff. I’ve got my chops up now. I’ve been mixing and producing bands for 10 years now. Let’s go for it.”
Spring King's most recent single is "Paranoid", the fourth to be lifted from their upcoming sophomore album A Better Life, after "Animal", "Us vs Them" and "The Hum".
