Spring King ride out flashbacks with electrifying new single "The Hum"
Spring King are renowned for their electrifying sound. New single "The Hum" has a life-or-death pace, racing and pulsating with more urgency and heat than ever.
Having arrived back in May with their pumping anthem "Animal", Spring King have been preserving their energy for another hyper clashing of cymbals and howling vocals with their new single "The Hum".
Contradicting the name, Spring King steer far from a quiet delivery, and instead compile their emotions into a rapture that is delivered with electrifying force.
Bassist James Green details "The Hum" further, ""The Hum" is a song about returning to old haunts and old memories, and attempting to relive those visceral experiences and emotions, whilst realising that you've allowed yourself to slip into a life that wasn't necessarily what you'd planned. It also came to encompass all the broader themes that the album touches on - self-reflection, overcoming adversity and negativity, and a constant striving for something better.”
Lifted from their forthcoming sophomore album A Better Life, Spring King have decided to stick to their roots as drummer Tarek Musa still holds the production crown for album number two after winning an award for Self-Producing Artist Of The Year at the 2017 Music Producers Guild Awards.
A Better Life follows on from their 2016 debut album Tell Me If You Like To.
