Spotify lifts limit on songs users can save to libraries
Spotify have finally lifted the limit on the amount of songs users can save to their libraries.
Prior to the announcement, Spotify capped the amount of songs in libraries to 10,000, but now there's no limit at all.
According to The Verge, the music streaming site has over 50 million songs available, so limiting users to add 10,000 songs to their libraries is, in some people's eyes, nowhere near enough.
A developer at Spotify responded to a user that has been requesting the cap to be lifted since 2017. The developer writes, "This is no more. After today, you can add as many songs as you like to your Liked Songs on Spotify. I've been working with a small team on the refactoring necessary to pull this off for a while now. Very happy to see this finally out."

Individual playlists are still limited to 10,000 songs, and the download limit is also at the same number.
The update will reportedly take a bit of time to come into effect.
