Spector unveil new single "All The Sad Young Men"
Indie-rock outfit Spector have unleashed a mighty new single calaled "All The Young Men", and you can listen to it now.
It's stuffed with Fred MacPherson's signature baritone wit/wisdom, á la White Lies or Hurts, and a blend of '80s new wave synths and jangly dream-pop guitars. Dissecting the dissatisfaction of today's youth, they touch a raw nerve with lyrical aplomb and dry humour - "I don't wanna make love/I don't wanna make plans/I don't want anyone to wanna hold my hand/we're all beautiful now like they were beautiful then/all the miserable girls, all the sad young men."
"All The Sad Young Men" is taken from Spector's forthcoming second album. They will play an intimate Lexington show on 12 March to celebrate the release of their new single, and you can grab tickets from 9am 6 February.
