Spector return with new single "Untitled In D" and details of a new EP
Spector today unveil thumping new track "Untitled In D" and share details of upcoming short-player Ex-Directory.
The new EP follows up 2015 record Moth Boys, though the indie rockers have shared a few pieces of new music in the time since that was released - including pro-EU anthem "Born In The EU" and standalones "Decade Of Decay" and "Tenner".
"'Untitled In D' has been burning a hole in Spector’s pocket for a little while now," frontman Fred Macpherson says. "I wrote the bones of it pretty quickly then Jed came through and channelled the ghost of John Frusciante on guitar and we knew we were on to something. After the sheen of our first two albums it was exciting capturing something simple and irreverent - the sound of us playing in a room rather than playing in a computer."
Spector have a one-off show at London's Omeara planned for 16 January - tickets are on sale now.
