Southend pays tribute to Keith Flint with mural on high street
An artist has painted a new mural in memory of The Prodigy's Keith Flint on Southend's high street.
Keith Flint died by suicide earlier this month aged 49.
While a proposed statue in his Essex hometown of Braintree is still in progress of being approved, Southend agreed to commission a mural in memory of The Prodigy vocalist.
Local artist John Bulley painted the portrait of Flint under the railway bridge on the pedestrianised high street in Southend-on-Sea over the weekend.

Last week it was announced that a group of DJs would perform at venues all over the UK to honour the late frontman and raise money for Mind and CALM charities, including Altern 8's Mark Archer, Shadow Child, A Guy Called Gerald, and many more.
Mark Archer from Altern 8 has already launched his own fundraising scheme with donations from Altern 8's reissued Full On Mask Hysteria album going to Mind and CALM.
