SOPHIE to debut new songs during live set today
SOPHIE is performing a 20-minute set on YouTube today (9 July), and it'll include a bunch of new material.
The set was supposed to be aired during last week's online party HEAV3N, which was aiming to fundraise for black trans and queer femmes before it was cancelled.
Instead, SOPHIE will debut her new music via a YouTube set later today (9 July), and it'll feature new collaborations with Shygirl and Cecile Believe, and will be completed with laser visuals from Pieterjan Ruysch.
Pitchfork notes that SOPHIE will encourage donations to black trans and queer femmes in today's set.
Although SOPHIE hasn't released her own music since 2018's Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides, she has collaborated with a huge range of artists, including Charli XCX, Kim Petras, GAIKA, Brooke Candy, and more.
