R&B’s man of the moment, Frank Ocean is being sued by a producer and songwriter for his Channel Orange track ‘Lost’.
The song appeared on Ocean’s 2012 major label debut and is the subject of a new lawsuit filed by Micah Otano.
Otano, who has previously worked with Anastacia on ‘Burning Star’ and Fantasia Barrino with ‘Overload’, is claiming that the hip-hop star based the track on his original ‘Daylight’ without giving any due credit.
The court case states that Otano is seeking royalties as well as songwriting and production credits for the track.
